ITMA ASIA + CITME, the renowned biennial textile machinery exhibition, is set to expand its reach with a second Asian location in 2025. The announcement was made at the recent ITMA 2023 show in Milan. Since 2008, this combined exhibition has been successfully held in Shanghai, and now, Singapore has been selected as the new host city.
CEMATEX (the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers) and its Chinese partners—the China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA) and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT-Tex)—have chosen Singapore to hold ITMA ASIA + CITME from October 28 to 31, 2025, at the Singapore Expo. ITMA Services will organize the event, with Beijing Textile Machinery International Exhibition Co. as co-organizer.
Mr. Ernesto Maurer, President of CEMATEX, remarked, “We have successfully held seven editions of ITMA ASIA + CITME in Shanghai. As part of our strategy to support the aspirations of local manufacturers in South Asia, South East Asia, and the Middle East to modernize their operations, we are augmenting the series with a second location in Asia to better reach out to the textile hubs in these regions.”
Mr. Gu Ping, President of CTMA, added, “Asia is the world’s biggest textile manufacturer and exporter. We are delighted to extend our cooperation with CEMATEX to bring ITMA ASIA and CITME to other parts of Asia to support our members’ marketing efforts.”
Dubbed “The Leading Textile Technology Exhibition Driving Regional Growth,” ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025, is expected to occupy 60,000 square meters and attract over 700 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors.
