Febratex 2028: Brazil’s Leading Textile Technology Exhibition Returns to Blumenau

Febratex 2028 will return to Blumenau, Brazil, from 22 to 25 August 2028 for the 20th edition of one of Latin America’s major trade fairs for the textile and apparel industry.

Held at Parque Vila Germânica, the four-day exhibition will bring together machinery manufacturers, technology suppliers, textile producers and industry professionals to explore equipment, materials and innovations across the textile and garment production chain.

The official organiser says the 2028 edition will feature machinery, inputs and new technologies distributed across 10 exhibition sectors, providing visitors with a broad overview of solutions for textile and apparel manufacturing.

A Major Textile Technology Platform in Latin America

Febratex is organised in Blumenau, one of Brazil’s most important textile manufacturing regions, and has developed into a key meeting point for textile technology, machinery and industrial innovation in Latin America.

The exhibition covers a wide range of areas across the textile value chain, including textile machinery, apparel production equipment, raw materials, textile chemicals, digital printing, software, automation and production technologies.

Its location in Santa Catarina also places the event close to one of Brazil’s most established textile and apparel manufacturing clusters.

Febratex Builds on a Record 2026 Edition

The previous edition in 2026 was described by the organiser as the largest Febratex in the event’s history.

The exhibition recorded 102,000 accesses and 87,560 visitor badges, with representatives from 3,380 companies and 72 countries taking part.

Across approximately 40,000 square metres and ten exhibition pavilions at Parque Vila Germânica and Ginásio Galegão, the event featured 678 exhibition spaces covering solutions for multiple stages of textile production.

Automation, artificial intelligence, digital printing, traceability, production efficiency and new materials were among the major themes of the 2026 edition, while sustainability and circularity were increasingly integrated into machinery, materials and production processes.

Machinery, Materials and Digital Transformation

Febratex provides textile manufacturers with an opportunity to evaluate new technologies designed to improve productivity, automation and process control.
