Iranian private sector is committed to attend the Armenian market, a senior Iranian official said on Saturday.
Active participation of Iranian companies in Armenian international fairs shows the Iranian entrepreneurs’ commitment to attend the country’s market, Iran’s Commercial Attaché to Armenia Mohsen Rahimi said.
He noted that 44 Iranian companies from various fields of food staff, carpet, construction materials, transportation, auto industry, electronic devices and chemical products attended the First Eurasia Brand Exhibition held in the Armenian capital, on May 4-7, 2019.
Also, the Iranian companies had active presence in construction and interior exhibition held on May 17-19 as well as international tourism exhibition held on April 26-28 in Yerevan, the official added.
He said that dozens of cooperation documents were signed between the Iranian and Armenian companies on the sidelines of exhibitions.
According to Armenian customs administration, Iran and Armenia’s trade exchanges witnessed 50 percent growth in 2018 and the two countries’ trade exchange in the first three months of 2019 experienced 37 percent growth, Rahimi added.
