As one of the leading European textile trade shows, twice a year MUNICH FABRIC START presents a qualitative portfolio of international fabrics and accessories manufacturers showcasing their newest developments and innovations in Munich.

On 21 and 22 January 2025, up to 1,100 international suppliers will showcase their new collections as a comprehensive range of textiles, accessories, finishings and sourcing solutions for the Spring.Summer 26 season in Munich.

This wide offer of specialist information and inspiration makes MUNICH FABRIC START an international business platform in a unique trade show format which attracts up to 15,000 international visitors to Munich twice a year.

Every season, MUNICH FABRIC START Exhibitions GmbH also organises the Preview Textile Show VIEW Premium Selection as well as the International Denim Trade Show BLUEZONE.

Fabrics

Some 500 international suppliers present their material innovations for all apparel segments at the FABRICS Area. The complete product portfolio of fashionable woven and knitted fabrics made of wool, cotton, silk, blends and functional fibres is shown here.

Additionals

The latest developments for buttons, ribbons, ornamentations, rhinestones, fasteners, linings, lace, embroidery, inlays as well as labelling and branding solutions will be presented by around 200 leading international suppliers of trims and accessories in the ADDITIONALS area.

Bluezone

As an international trade show for denim, street and sportswear, BLUEZONE is one of the global key events for the denim industry. True to the motto ‘Denim beyond seasons’, around 100 international denim mills, weavers, manufacturers and finishers show their latest innovations, share their know-how and the latest trends with the growing blue community.

Design Studios

The DESIGN STUDIOS area offers creative input, progressive ideas and new designs. Here, textile designers and trend agencies from all over the world show their fabric designs and latest developments for prints and patterns.

ReSOURCE

ReSOURCE is the sourcing platform for environmentally friendly and responsibly produced textiles, clothing and accessories. Here, the latest material developments and textile innovations of the MUNICH FABRIC START exhibitors are shown – in an independent area at the show as well as 24/7 online. In addition to natural, biological or recycled fibres, the forward-looking innovations have long included new models of the circular economy with regenerative cellulose fibres or bioplastics.

The innovative fabrics and trims are presented in 8 categories:

The Source

Selected clothing manufacturers present their products and services around the latest sourcing services and apparel manufacturing at THE SOURCE at the MOC. The range of services of internationally experienced manufacturing companies includes cut-make-trim (CMT) solutions as well as high-end production. Furthermore, services such as A-Z process solutions including procurement processes are offered – a suitable addition to the diverse portfolio of MUNICH FABRIC START.

As part of the MUNICH FABRIC START, THE SOURCE is a one-stop sourcing platform and the stage for all-in-one providers to present turnkey, end-to-end solutions from PLV to white-label for brands, labels, and retail.

Keyhouse

Progressive suppliers and global players from cross-industry sectors will present current new developments, innovations and technologies in the atmospheric industrial charm of KEYHOUSE. On more than 1,000 square metres, trend-setting smart textiles, future fabrics and new technologies will be shown with a maximum of integration in textile products and high fashion and in the context of cross-industry macro trends.

Staged as an interactive think tank, future-oriented show cases are put in the spotlight alongside sustainable developments, expert workshops and trend seminars. Be it in terms of sustainability, technology, finishing or research.

SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS is the platform for exciting, emerging designers who create extraordinary material developments and rethink the textile world – with these insights you are always one step ahead of the market.

Scalable material innovations and future-proof processes are presented as show cases offering real solutions to problems with the most innovative textile developments. Curated by Simon Angel, the forum has been an integral part of KEYHOUSE since 2016.
